Dat ‘Rona is making these celebs do some dumb stuff! As expected, Tori Spelling has now issued an apology for her incredibly tone deaf Instagram post where she showcased her daughter wearing a bandana and nicknamed her “McQuisha”. Also, as expected, the apology is about as confusing as the initially incident.

Spelling Says I’m Sorry

“I posted a story the other day that upset many of you. I’m truly sorry. That was NOT the intention at ALL,” the mother-of-five wrote. “Hattie is 8. We watch and adore old reruns of Martin. She loves the character Shanaynay. She made up that name with ‘Mc’ bc her last name is McDermott. She was reenacting the over the top fun and amazing character from Martin. She is innocent and didn’t mean anything by it. I should have thought about how it could have been perceived and misconstrued before I posted. I did not. I’m truly sorry.”

First and foremost, it’s Sheneneh not “Shanaynay”. Get it right, Spelling! Secondly, how da hell you turn an apology into a, “Martin did it so we thought we could”? Also, the “Mc” explanation … keep it. If it comes from her last name then where did she get the Quisha? Lastly, don’t blame “Martin”, don’t blame your daughter’s youth and certainly don’t label it as “misconstrued”. Own your ish and acknowledge your bias. It’s blatantly obvious at this point.

In case you missed the original post check it out below. Little Miss Hattie looks nothing like Sheneneh or any “Martin” character for that matter…

Do you accept Tori’s apology or are you over her antics?
