Paul’s fans may have been hyping him up, but once ESPN caught wind of the celebration they promptly shut it down. Although the network didn’t expressly state that the raunchy videos were to blame for Pierce getting the boot, people are putting two-and-two together. The former MVP had spent the past 3.5 years with the network, appearing on “NBA Countdown” and “The Jump” — now he’s on Twitter claiming the best is yet to come.
