Now this is real hot girl sh*t! Megan Thee Stallion has been crowned ‘Rapper of the Year’ by GQ magazine … but unfortunately, the hottie is running into some haters who wonder if she’s really worthy of the title.

GQ is coining it “The Year of Thee Stallion” and they couldn’t be more accurate. While so many others have been taking Ls, Meg has been securing the bag and racking up the wins. But, with all the success she’s achieved in 2020, the rapper still faced some crushing blows, namely that shooting incident that occurred over the summer at the hands of a fellow rapper.

While that incident continues to loom — in court, on social media, and in the GQ article — it certainly doesn’t define her 2020. This year brought Meg massive hits with with “WAP” and “Savage.” The latter even spawned a remix with Beyoncé who now is a personal friend that calls to give MTS advice.

“She’s so calm,” Megan says of Beyoncé. “She would just be like, ‘Megan, live your life.’ Then Jay-Z will call me and be like, ‘Hey, listen, you know, you supposed to be turning up right now. You really need to be somewhere driving a boat. Live your life. Just fuck that.’ ”

And well WAP … we all know the controversy that stirred up!

“I saw somebody…some Republican lady, you know how they be. Some goddamn Republican lady, like, ‘This is a terrible example,’ ” she says, slipping into Republican-lady voice. (Megan is referring to former congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine, who tweeted: “America needs far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B”.) “And I was like, ‘Girl, you literally had to go to YouTube or to your Apple Music to go listen to this song in its entirety. How are you in your Republican world even finding your way over here to talk about this? You must not have noooo WAP if you’re mad at this song.’ ”

Meg realizes that the hate she receives isn’t really personal though, it’s more about how people feel about themselves…

“Sometimes people are really not comfortable enough with themselves, and I don’t think they like to watch other people be comfortable with themselves. And I don’t think they want anybody to teach other people how to be comfortable with themselves.”

And this is why when she was met with hate over being crowned “Rapper of the Year” — and reduced to a sympathy vote — she had this epic response…

Thee Stallion is hot and will stay hot and the haters will stay mad … especially when she drops her new album, “Good News,” on November 20th!
