Is This The REAL Reason Tamera Is Leaving ‘The Real’?

On Monday, Tamera Mowry-Housley announced that she would not be returning to The Real as a co-host next season. Fans were shocked, saddened and searching for reasons why. But, a quick perusal through Twitter may have uncovered the real reason Tam is saying good-bye to the daytime talk show.

In a message to her fans on Instagram, Tamera explained that “all good things must come to an end.” The actress revealed that although leaving “The Real” was bittersweet, she was excited to pursue “amazing new opportunities.”

I had NO intention to talk about this today, especially in light of the news of my dear friend Naya, but now some reports are coming out and I’d rather you hear it from me first.

While other folks speculated the timing had more to do with politics and less to do with “amazing new opportunities.” For years, Tam has faced rumors that her husband, former FOX reporter Adam Housley, was racist and held racially insensitive views regarding Trayvon Martin’s death. And even though, on many occasion, Mrs. Housley let it be known her husband was nowhere near racist, it didn’t stop Twitter from connecting those imaginary dots from her depature to the upcoming election … one that has been proven to be racially divided.
