Master P has made good on his promise to expose producers of Growing Up Hip Hop. A few months after he and son Romeo Miller abruptly quit the WeTV reality show, the rap pioneer has shared a BTS clip.
“I’m only showing you this so next time you’re watching this show you can use your real judgement and see how they flip peoples words and change positive moments into negative,” he wrote in the caption.

I’m only showing you this so next time you’re watching this show you can use your real judgement and see how they flip peoples words and change positive moments into negative. This is the reason we quit 6 months ago. They edit for drama, we have more important things to worry about than fake producers creating fake love stories. The only way to change this is with ownership. I’m putting my trust in God. Never let these devils play with your mind for a little piece of bread. That’s the real reason my son didn’t want to talk on camera anymore because he knew that his words would be altered like they did mine. I’m praying for the Simmon’s family and the other families on the show, so they can see through this Bs too. #Weallwegot #FamilyOverEverything @romeomiller
In the footage, P is seen arguing with a GUHH producer about the show. The No Limit Records CEO voiced his displeasure with a romantic storyline being manufactured between his son and Angela Simmons. Romeo also brought up his problems with the reality series “playing” with his faith in God.
Master P real name Percy Miller, and Romeo previously addressed their Growing Up Hip Hop exit during a Breakfast Club interview in March.
“They wanna see drama,” Romeo said. “Reality [TV] thinks the only way to be successful is to see drama.”
“God has blessed us,” added the music mogul. “We got so many things going on to where we don’t have to do stuff that’s negative that go [against] our family values.”
On Sunday, Master P also spoke about the show and plans to share what really happened. He also stressed the importance of ownership, and sent love to the other families still on the show.

This is why ownership is important because they control the narrative. These producers edit for drama not positivity. Smart people understand that reality TV is not real it’s entertainment and a business. They’ll continue to put us against each other for ratings. No family is perfect and no check will break us up that’s why the Miller family walked away from this a long time ago. Praying for the Dash family and all the other families don’t let these people use y’all. God will make your enemies your footstools! We will reveal the truth real soon. #weallwegot
We see he is truly a man of his word.
