Shannon Brown Gets The House In Divorce From Monica, Singer Has 6 Months To Vacate

Monica is really about to be “So Gone” from ex-husband Shannon Brown.

New details surrounding the couples divorce have surfaced and its pretty interesting to say the least. As previously reported the pair’s divorce was finalized last Tuesday.

Now, according to legal docs obtained by The Jasmine Brand, the singer is preparing to leave the home she shared with Brown in Fayetteville, Georgia. Monica, who has changed her surname back to Arnold, has 6 months to pack up herself and her kids, Romelo, Rocko and Layla, according to their agreement.Previously, Monica stated that she and Shannon planned to stay together under one roof as the kids were still in school.

Divorce papers also reveal that Monica gets primary custody of the kids. She walks away with two luxury vehicles, including a 2018 Maybach Mercedes and 2016 Range Rover. Neither party will receive alimony, separate maintenance or spousal support of any kind from the other party.

Monica filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, back in March 2019 citing “irreconcilable differences.” Prior to the filing, Monica hadn’t been seen with her wedding ring for about a month nor had they been photographed together for some time. Over the years the marriage had been plagued with cheating rumors, which both refused to address.

The couple have one daughter, Laiyla Brown 6. Monica has two sons, from a previous relationship with producer Rocko.
