Mo’Nique is completely and utterly unapologetic about telling Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels to “suck my d*ck.”
The comedian made headlines this week after calling out the Hollywood power players during a stand-up show at the Apollo over Mother’s Day Weekend. But despite being criticized for making vulgar remarks about the moguls in the entertainment industry, the beauty is standing by her words.
Comparing herself to the late Richard Pryor, the actress told TMZ: “The reason why we loved Richard Pryor was because of the truth baby, he told the truth … Every thing I say comes from my heart. I’m unapologetic about it.”
During the standup routine, Mo addressed being blackballed in Hollywood after picking up an Oscar for her role in Daniels’ drama, Precious. According to the star, Perry and Winfrey assisted in labeling Mo as a difficult woman to work with.
Mo concluded in her attempt to defend her now-controversial statements that she is also not afraid of the “blowback.”
