Polaris Hosts First-Ever Galentine’s Day Off-Roading Adventure
Polaris is redefining Galentine’s Day!
For the first time ever, the leader in powersports and off-road innovation, celebrated Galentine’s Day hosting a group of millennial women for an adrenaline-filled off-roading, outdoor adventure. While many brands traditionally market Galentine’s Day to women leveraging more feminine or “girly” aesthetics and themes, Polaris took a bold different approach.
On Friday, February 9th, they transported 12 women, via luxury Sprinter, to the companies Happy Trails location in Lucerne, CA. But first they made a pit stop at Marina Lodge in Big Bear, CA where they would be staying overnight.
During the 2-hour trip the ladies were able to relax, mingle and have fun before getting down and dirty for a two-hour ride through the dunes and desert.
For this special Galentine’s Day experience, Polaris hosted a number of media and lifestyle influencers including– HipHollywood and KTLA reporter Jasmine Simpkins, multimedia journalist and Fortune & Forks co-founder Krystal Vega, film and TV producer and Fortune & Forks co-founder Naomi Wright; I.E. In Besties podcast hosts and influencers Vanessa Cazarez, Stephanie Ramirez, and Isis Medina; Blavity content producer Maya Muldrew; entertainment journalist Sharmaine Johnson; and Global Grind Associate Editor Chelsea Samuel.
Upon arrival, the ladies were greeted by the amazing Polaris team. They were given safety guidelines, and provided with gear to protect their heads, face, and eyes. Next they picked out their vehicle, which included bluetooth capabilities for music and an onscreen map utitlizing their state of the art Ride Command feature to help guide them.
During the off-roading experience they also stopped to snap some photos, eat lunch, and capture some drone footage. Needless to say it was an amazing and exhilarating experience.
