The Kardashians are starting to surface again on social media after this week’s terrifying family incident in Paris.
On Monday, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside her Paris residence and robbed of nearly $10 million worth of jewelry. The famous family, clearly shaken up by the incident, took a short hiatus from social media — but now, it looks like the Kardashian/Jenner crew is starting to get back to business.
On Wednesday evening, Kourtney Kardashian,, who was in Paris during the time of the attack, shared a message from a daily devotional with her Twitter followers. The reading is a mere reminder that “joy is not dependent on your circumstances” and that “some the world’s most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable.”
The reading adds, “If you make problem-solving secondary so the goal of living close to Me, you can find Joy even in your most difficult days.”
Model Kendall Jenner, who was also in Paris, walking for Fashion Week, broke her silence on Instagram, sharing a snapshot of herself wearing a furry, red coat. The playful image was captioned: “low key look.”
Three days ago, Kim was bound, gagged and locked inside her bathroom by two armed men, dressed as police officers. The suspects got away with some of Kim’s most-prized possessions, including the 20-carat diamond that was given to her by Kanye West last month. By the way, the ring is valued around $4.49 million.
Kim returned to New York late Monday and has since been in hiding. According to reports, the mother of two is still upset over the robbery and will need time to recover.
It’s also being reported that the 35-year-old will re-evaluate how much information she will be sharing, or rather flaunting, on social media.
As for the robbers, it’s being speculated that the heist was carried out by the famous Pink Panther Gang. The group of men are still at large.
