Alexis McClure’s Epic Meltdown After Learning Twin Sis Ava Is One-Minute Older

There’s nothing like good ol’ twin rivalry.

When it comes to identical or fraternal twins, there’s a constant conversation about who is older.

For the older sibling, they are eternally throwing it in the face of the younger sibling that they popped out of their mothers womb a few minutes earlier. But whether it’s 10 minutes or 15 seconds, older is older and first is first.

The idea of being older must be biologically programmed inside a twins mind because one set of adorable sisters have gone viral after one learning who’s older.

Three year old twins, Alexis and Ava McClure from West Orange, New Jersey had quite an emotional conversation after finding out the truth their twinship. In the video, Alexis and Ava listen closely while their mother Ami delivers the news about who is older.

“Ava was born one minute older than Alexis; one minute,” Ami says in the video.”But I want to be older,” Alexis says while starting to cry.

Ami attempts to calm Alexis down by telling her, “You’re one minute younger, you don’t have to cry … I’m not saying bigger, she’s not bigger than you. You’re the same size, she’s just one minute older.”

Leave it to Ava, who will continue to be the shoulder her little sister cries on, to suggest, “I’m just one minute older. That’s it!”

That’s when Alexis quips back, “I just wanna grow.”

In the same clip, the girls find out they look exactly the same. When asked by their mother what identical means, Alexis thought it all came down to being adorable — Ava, however, suggested it must be they have the same birthday.

But when told to look at each other, the pair realized, holy crap, we look exactly alike.

This isn’t the first video that’s gone viral of Ava and Alexis. The pair made headlines last month after finding out their father ate all their Goldfish. Their reaction, needless to say — priceless.
