The Oscars Pulled An Oscars Again … This Year’s Biggest Snubs!

The Academy has pissed off folks once again, but this time multiple minority groups are calling for change!

The lack of diversity among the Oscar nominees is embarrassing at this point. The Academy has overlooked not only Black talent, but talent from various groups and folks on Twitter are sounding off. Some of the snubs this year include Jennifer Lopez, Awkwafina, Director Greta Gerwig, Eddie Murphy and Lupita Nyong’o.

No Lupita. No Taron Egerton. No Adam Sandler. No Awkwafina. No Jennifer Lopez. Nothing for The Farewell. One nomination for Knives Out.

The award-giving bodies are intentionally pushing Beyoncé OUT. Campaigning might not have changed anything. Homecoming had SIX rightful Emmy wins and went home with ZERO. And that’s with the biggest hype and an active campaign.

Above all, people seemed to be the most upset at the Academy for overlooking Lupita’s phenomenal role(s) in “Us”.

The Academy dead ass looked at Lupita Nyong'o and said, "We prefer you as a slave."

Also, Murphy’s major comeback in “Dolemite is my Name” being snub set folks off!

In the beginning of awards season everyone thought J. Lo would be among the Oscar nominees for her performance in “Hustlers” … however, her name wasn’t on the list either.

And y’all know, anytime Beyonce’s name isn’t mentioned there’s a problem. The BeyHive thought her song “Spirit” for “The Lion King” was a sure bet — unfortunately, they were wrong.
