Elemental Cast Has Fun With Science Puns
Disney Pixar new animated film Elemental is serving up some science fiction fun.
HipHollywood sat down with the cast including Mamoudou Athie and Leah Lewis, on the Pixar campus about making the film and their love for the elements.
The out-of-world flick is a pun-filled story about two star-crossed lovers pulled together by fate in spite of the larger forces working to keep them apart. Directed by Peter Sohn, “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire-, Water-, Earth- and Air-residents live together.
The story introduces Ember Lumen (Leah Lewis) a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade Ripple (Mamoudou Athie) challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
“Elemental” is in theaters June 16th.
