Melody Shari is single and ready to mingle … well kinda.

The entrepreneur and star of Love & Marriage Huntsville called it quits from husband Martell Holt in 2020 after 12 years of marriage. The pairs rocky relationship was documented on their hit reality show including Martell’s infidelity and fathering a child with another woman.

Now the multi-talented mother of four has dropped her last name and is living her best life. HipHollywood caught up with her ahead of the explosive season 6 finale about dating and if men are sliding in her DM’s.

“Guys don’t really slide in my DM’s,” she said with a big smile. “I don’t know if it’s because they are intimidated or feel like I’m not going to respond I don’t know.”

She continued, “Yes I’ve dated since I left my marriage, but I’ve been more so focused on my healing and making sure I’m good so that whatever I get in to next, when I make ya’ll aware I’m into something, it’s going to be because it’s something that’s solid, it’s something that’s genuine, that’s pure, that’s real.”

Meanwhile her ex has moved on with fellow reality star Sheree Whitfield. The pair went public with their romance back in July and rumor has it Martell will appear on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

While on Carlos King’s Reality With the King podcast, Melody shared how she found out about their budding romance and clarified that she could care less.

“I don’t remember where I was. It came across my timeline. I don’t remember where I was. I guess it wasn’t that important like it’s no staple in my mind. I don’t remember,” she added. “To be honest with you, I didn’t even put much thought into it. I just said, ‘Oh,’ and I kept scrolling.”

Part II of the LAMH season 6 reunion airs Saturday, January 7th.
