In not so surprising news, Dave Chappelle is facing backlash over his recent comedy special.

On Tuesday Chappelle dropped his last stand-up special (for Netflix) called ‘The Closer.”

In one clip he talks about rapper Da Baby and his controversial statements at Rolling Loud festival in Miami.

“In our country, you can shoot and kill a n***a, but you better not hurt a gay person’s feelings,” he joked.

In another section he discusses the LGBTQ+ community — specifically trans women.

“Now, I am not saying that to say trans women aren’t women, I am just saying that those p—ies that they got… you know what I mean? I’m not saying it’s not p—y, but it’s Beyond P—y or Impossible P—y. It tastes like p—y, but that’s not quite what it is, is it? That’s not blood,” he said. “That’s beet juice.”

Unfortunately not everyone was laughing online.

At one point Chappelle also proclaimed that: “Gender is a fact. Every human being in this room, every human being on earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on earth. That is a fact.”

“The Closer” is the 48-year-old’s sixth comedy special for the streaming giant.

In the teaser, he seemingly prepared fans for what was to come saying: “Comedians have a responsibility to speak recklessly. Sometimes, the funniest thing to say is mean. Remember, I’m not saying it to be mean — I’m saying it because it’s funny.”

So did you watch “The Closer” and do you think Dave went too far? Sound off below.
