DaBaby Explains Anti-Gay, HIV/ AIDS Comments After Twitter Drags Him

DaBaby had a lot to say on stage during his performance at Rolling Loud this weekend. Unfortunately it’s now got him in some hot water.

ICYMI, during the rappers set he encouraged the crowd to put their cell phone lights up, but in the most disturbing and unnecessary way.

“Put your phones up if you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS or other STDs that’ll make you die in 2-3 weeks” and “Fellas, if you didn’t suck a n**** d*** in the parking lot,” he said.

Of course after clips of his remarks went viral, the internet let him have it and he was trending on Twitter.

On Monday, the “Masterpiece” rapper took to Instagram to try and explain his remarks but seemingly only made it worse.

One person that came to his defense however was fellow rapper T.I.

“If Lil Nas X can kick his s**t in peace… so should dababy,” He wrote adding the #equality hashtag as well. Later, he attempted to clarify his remark by saying he respects gay people, but doesn’t believe homosexuals should have more rights than heterosexuals.
