Lala Anthony Files For Divorce From Carmelo Anthony, Woman Claims He’s Father Of Her Twins

Lala Anthony is officially done with husband Carmelo Anthony.

On Thursday, La La filed divorce docs in New York, 11 years after tying the knot with the NBA star. She cited irreconcilable differences.

Sources close to the former couple tell TMZ … they’ve been separated for awhile but remain friends after 16 years together, and everything about the divorce is amicable.

To say the marriage has been through a lot an understatement. In 2017 the couple split after 7 years of marriage amid cheating rumors but by late 2018 they decided to reconcile. In mid-2019, La La reportedly called their marriage “strained” amid more cheating speculation and things remained on shaky ground even though the family quarantined together in 2020.

Now sources say their 14-year-old son, Kiyan — remains there top priority and they are fully aligned as parenting partners.

Meanwhile, hot on the heels of the news that the couple are getting a divorce, a woman has come forward claiming Carmelo is the father of her twins.

Hollywood Unlocked has got a hold of alleged messages between the basketball star and a woman who claims she just gave birth to his twins in April.

According to the outlet, they spoke with the woman (she wanted to keep her name private) who said she’d allegedly met Carmelo last year in New York. She claims they kept in contact and spoke “almost every day,” eventually meeting and engaging in a sexual relationship.

The woman later learned she was pregnant and she and Carmelo planned for an abortion. She says when that plan changed she but ended up giving birth to twins in April prematurely.

She told Hollywood Unlocked that she’s struggling to get Carmelo’s attention and hopes that this story will make him keep in contact.
