Well, look who’s come out of hiding for her redemption tour. Stacey Dash has resurfaced after years of laying low, and now she claims she’s sorry for shuckin & jivin for MAGA. Sureeeee…

It’s been a while since we saw Stacey on anyone’s platform as a political pundit. She was fired from FOX News in 2016 for saying Barack Obama “didn’t give a s**t’ about terrorism.” Then she was blasted in 2017 for backing Trump’s “very fine people on both sides” statement after the Charlottesville neo-Nazi rally in Virginia. Needless to say, she’s BEEN off our radar and we were just fine with that. Now though, she seems to be crawling back from her canceled status in an effort to apologize and convince us she’s a whole new Stacey.

In an interview with DailyMailTV, the “Clueless” star claims the reason she was so extreme was because she was an angry Black woman.

“I’ve lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News. I was the angry, conservative, Black woman. And at that time in my life it was who I was. I realized in 2016 that anger is unsustainable and it will destroy you. I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.”

Now her anger has turned into an apology.

“There are things that I am sorry for. Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them. They were very arrogant and prideful and angry. And that’s who Stacey was, but that’s not who Stacey is now. Stacey’s someone who has compassion, empathy.

So, what was the catalyst? Apparently, the appalling Capitol riot on January 6th was Stacey’s breaking point.

“I think the Capitol Riots were appalling. When that happened I was like ‘Ok, I’m done. I’m truly done.’ Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on January 6 was just appalling and stupid.”

Whether you believe her or not, Dash seems to be doing an about-face and leaving her MAGA hat in the closet and embracing the new regime.

“Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don’t belong in. But he’s not the president. I’m going to give the president that we have right now a chance.”

What do you think of Stacey’s tear-filled mea culpa?
