Married To Medicine: Dr. Contessa Reveals If Husband Scott Cheated

Married To Medicine star Dr. Contessa is keeping it real about her relationship with husband Dr. Scott Metcalfe.

 

Last season fans saw her marriage hit a rough patch as she juggled home life in Atlanta and finishing her graduate school program in Nashville. Now, based on the explosive season 8 trailer, Scott may have had an extramarital affair. HipHollywood caught up with Contessa to find out if that was in fact the case.

“Honestly, you just never ever know,” she said during the zoom interview. “And I’m never gonna be that woman who was gonna ever be shocked about anything … so I have no idea as far as what’s happening or whatever, but that’s my kid’s father, he’s a wonderful person, I love my husband, he is the best man that I know, and I believe in marriage is for better or worse, so we gotta figure it out, man.”

This wouldn’t be the first time in “Married To Medicine” history that a spouse had an affair. A few seasons ago Dr. Jackie’s husband Curtis was caught cheating and they were able to work it out.

Based on our conversation with the mother of 3, a big part of her storyline this season will be about balancing her marriage and new business ventures including starting a clinic with her husband.

“I just feel like the good thing is from each season, I’m seeing that I am personally growing and I’m proud of that, and I’m learning from every mistake I’ve ever made … and I’m giving myself permission to be more than just a mom.”
