Chaka Khan Isn’t Feeling Ariana Grande: She’s Alright
Ain’t nobody gon’ sing a duet with Chaka Khan … at least not a female singer. Chaka made that REAL clear during a recent interview with comedian Luenell on VladTV.
When asked if there are new artists she’d perform with Chaka couldn’t think of any so Luenell mentioned Ariana Grande, and Chaka kept it all the way one hundred.
“F*ck her, she’s alright. She’s good on her own,” she said. “She don’t need—plus, I don’t wanna sing with another woman. I ain’t got nothing to say with a woman. You say it by yourself. We ain’t gonna talk about no man. We not gon’ do none of that stuff. It’s not happening. I’m not gone do no song with no heffa.”
It’s clear Chaka isn’t into singing duets females … at least not anymore. She and Grande did record the song “Nobody” together for the latest Charlie’s Angels film back in 2019.
Now, she’s singing a different tune. When we interviewed Chaka a few months ago and asked if she’d be interested in doing a “Verzuz Battle” she laughed it off and said, “I’m good.”
