Breaking: Tory Lanez Charged With Shooting Meg Thee Stallion
It finally happened folks. After petitions to have Tory Lanez deported and arrested, he’s now been charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was charged on Thursday. According to the Los Angeles County website, Lanez faces one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
Lanez has denied shooting the 25-year-old rap star after a night of partying in the Hollywood Hills on July 12. Meg told her fans in an emotional social media post Tory shot her and shared photos of her injuries on Instagram.
Since, fans have been torn and have taken sides. Now it’ll be up to a judge to decide.
The Canadian-bred MC is scheduled to be arraigned in LA Superior Court on October 13. If convicted, he faces up to 22 years in prison.
