Twitter Reacts To Tyra Taking Over ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Hosting Gig

Tyra Banks is taking over the dance floor! No, not with her moves — with her hosting skills. The super model has been tapped to host and executive produce Dancing With The Stars.

DWTS announced the switch up after current hosts, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, exited.

Of course, Banks was thrilled at the chance to host the fan favorite show:

“I’ve been a fan of ‘DWTS’ since its beginning … The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances … it’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk,” Banks said in a statement, according to People. “Tom has set a powerful stage, and I’m excited to continue the legacy and put on my executive producer and hosting hats.”

Fans also made an interesting connection with Nick Cannon. When the actor left America’s Got Talent, Banks swooped in to host. And now, he’s out at ViacomCBS, and Tyra gets another gig.
