Princess Love is officially done trying to make her marriage with Ray J work. The fashion designer and reality star reportedly has filed for divorce from her husband of almost four years. According to E! Love filed on Tuesday May 5.
Over the past several months, the couple’s marital troubles have played out very publicly. Last November, a then-pregnant Princess Love accused the R&B singer of leaving her and their daughter stranded” in Las Vegas. The social media scandal escalated further when Love claimed that Ray J had left their Vegas hotel room to “party with escorts and strippers.”
Meanwhile, Ray J, 39, insisted there was no truth to the rumors and offered an apology to Princess on The Wendy Williams Show.
“I have to do better, and I have to understand my wife is pregnant,” he said at the time. “I have to think a little more wiser when I’m making decisions.”
He also appeared on The Talk with sister Brandy and said they were working things out. This was before their 4-Part Zeus special “Ray J & Princess Love — The Conversation” — was set to air.
Unfortunately it still wasn’t enough to make Love stay. The 35-year-old vowed to file for divorce from her husband, and almost six months later she’s made good on her promise.
She hasn’t made a public statement but did post a blue cap emoji on Instagram basically saying ‘no cap’ or ‘no lies’. We’re sure Love has caught wind of the numerous stories regarding her filing and wants her fans to no it’s real.
Meanwhile the “One Wish” singer hasn’t said a word.
Princess Love and Ray J wed in Aug. 2016 after a year together. The couple welcome their first child, a daughter Melody Love Norwood in May 2018. She gave birth to the couples second child, Epik Ray Norwood, in January 2020.
