Central Park “Karen” Apologizes For Calling Cops On Black Man … But That Isn’t Enough

Karens gon’ Karen — that’s all they know how to do. Unfortunately, when they do so, it’s often at the peril of Black people. And, in the case of the latest Karen, real name Amy Cooper, her act of peak racism almost cost Christian Cooper (no relation) his life.

The video is jarring. Amy is caught on camera threatening to call the cops on Christian after her asked her to put a leash on her dog. The incident took place in an area of New York’s Central Park that requires dogs be leashed at all times — there are signs posted everywhere — but for some reason, instead of following the rules, Amy decided to call the cops on Christian and tell them “an African-American man is threatening my life.”

Karen knew full well what she was doing (Karens always know), but she was too focused on bigotry that she couldn’t help herself … and almost killed her dog in the process, too. Twitter immediately took action and got #AmyCooperIsRacist trending.

The thing that gets me most about the #AmyCooper story is that she stated her intentions to Mr. Cooper up front: I'm going to tell them an AFRICAN AMERICAN is threatening my life.

She KNEW that could be a death sentence for him, and she did it anyway DESPITE him recording her.

Racist a** Amy has “apologized” telling CNN:

“I’m not a racist. I did not mean to harm that man in any way,” she said, adding that she also didn’t mean any harm to the African American community. “I think I was just scared,” Amy Cooper said. “When you’re alone in the Ramble, you don’t know what’s happening. It’s not excusable, it’s not defensible.” Amy Cooper told CNN that since the video was posted, her “entire life is being destroyed right now.”

Additionally, she has been placed on administrative leave from her job and her dog is back with he adoption agency she got him from…

But still, that isn’t enough. Amy should be fired — better yet, arrested for falsely reporting an incident. That call to the cops could have cost Christian his life, and all too often Karens employ these tactics with no remorse or consequences. It won’t stop until they are held accountable.

Mr. Cooper could've lost his life. She knew it. She was going to use the cops to murder a Black man because she was annoyed.

#AmyCooper said she’s not racist and didn’t mean to harm Mr.Cooper in any way. What she meant to say was, she didn’t mean to get caught being racist and trying to get the cops to possibly harm Mr. Cooper.
