Texas may be ready to risk it all and re-open the state but they not playing with Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna Mayweather. According to reports the Harris County District Attorney’s Office is actively trying to build a case against her.
As previously reported Iyanna was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly stabbing Lapattra Jacobs earlier this month. Jacobs shares a child with Mayweather’s fiance NBAYoungBoy. The two reportedly got into a verbal altercation at the rappers Houston mansion. Things then escalated and Mayweather allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Jacobs more than once.
Harris County assistant DA Kenisha Day has now subpoenaed the victims medical records as evidence in the case. According to court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Day got an order forcing the Houston hospital where Jacobs sought treatment to hand over her medical charts, x-rays, lab results, photographs and other info.
If convicted, Mayweather faces up to 99 years in state prison. Her lawyer said she planned to plead not guilty when she’s due back in court later this summer.
We’ve reached out to the district attorney’s office for comment.
