Reunion Or Nah? Raven Symone And Kiely Williams Clears Up “Messy” Cheetah Girls Beef

It’s 2020 and we’re all quarantined, so what should we do? Settle decades old beef via Instagram Live, of course. At least that’s what Raven-Symone and Kiely Williams decided to do on Thursday night — and it was entertaining as hell!

In the early aughts Raven and Kiely, along with Adrienne Houghton (née Bailon) and Sabrina Bryan, were known as The Cheetah Girls. The Disney-backed group had movies, music videos, merch, and more. They also had beef. Fans knew nothing about it at the time, but now with rumors of a possible Cheetah Girls reunion on the horizon, all the tea is being spilled for public consumption.

While on IG Live, the former Cosby Show star and the former 3LW singer rehashed old rumors, like the one about Kiely outing Raven’s sexuality…

“No you didn’t rat me out when I was younger,” RS said.

“When I saw that I was upset because I was like, alright now, f–k,” Kiely said. “I’m a colorist, I’m a racist, I’m a bully, and now I’m a homophobe? No.”

The also confronted past “messy” mistakes…

“I guess you say I’m messy, but I don’t try to be,” Kiely said. “I think it comes out.”

“Girl, you messy,” Raven replied.

“I don’t try to be, I promise.”

“You know what? It’s okay. I don’t have a problem with it,” Raven said. “I’ve put myself in places with people that are all kinds of different ways and you have to appreciate them for what it is. I get to talk to you and heal a wound from that time period when we were younger that I probably wouldn’t get to do if I didn’t understand that you know what, you like to shake sh-t up.”

“Yeah, I’m a firestarter for sure,” Kiely responded. “It’s an acquired taste.”

“And I didn’t understand that when I was younger.”

And they finally let bygones be bygones…

“I’m a lot so I get it, especially if I felt like my back was against the wall,” Kiely said. “But I would never try to hurt you on purpose.”

“I appreciate that sweetheart, and I release any pain towards you that I had,” Raven replied. “I cancel, clear and delete it.”

The two girls covered a lot of ground, but some things were still left unresolved, like Williams’ strained relationship with former bestie Adrienne. Take a look at the 20 minute convo below — and beware, you might see an appearance from Kiely’s boob … her daughter wanted to feed during the live, and well, baby needs to eat!
