It’s piping hot and ready to serve — Kelly Rowland’s “Coffee” is the perfect pick me up!
Kels is back with new music, and is giving allll the sultry vibes. But, if you thought she was referring to a morning beverage, then you’re awfully mistaken. In the new video for her single “Coffee”, Rowland is rolling her coffee-colored, perfectly toned bodied in sand while singing, “Coffee and sex in the mornin’, Breakfast in bed, got me moanin’ /
Before you go to work, I need you to go to work / Pardon my sincerity, You know I’m a rarity.” She can also be seen in a sheer shirt, confidently flaunting it all while singing, “They say morning wood do a body good, babe / Clearly you agreed, don’t be tryna leave / Stay here with me / I’ll put you right back to sleep, I’ll get you right for the week.”
The video also highlights all shades of coffee-colored women, in all sizes. It’s truly a celebration of Black women and that’s exactly Kelly’s mission.
“To me, “Coffee” is about embracing your individuality, sexuality, or imperfections,” Rowland said in a statement. “Not comparing yourself to others. We need to celebrate ourselves more often — with this song, I want you to have yourself in mind. I want to remind women all over to reignite their magic!”
The song and video have been getting rave reviews with fans claiming this is the best they’ve seen from Kelly!
