“It’s true my parents got coronavirus. Crazy,” the 29-year-old Chet said in the video. “They’re both down in Australia right now because my dad was shooting a movie down there, but I just got off the phone with them. They both are fine. They’re not even that sick. They’re not worried about it.”

Chet added, “They’re not tripping, but they’re going through the necessary health precautions, obviously. But I don’t think it’s anything to be too worried about.”

You recall Chet was the son who showed off his patois skills on the Golden Globes red carpet while joining his dad for the ceremony.

Oh his parents must be so proud.

The legendary actor announced on Wednesday that he and his wife, Rita Wilson, have tested positive for the Wuhan Coronavirus.

“Rita and I…felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too,” Hanks wrote in an Instagram post. “To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

Hanks and Wilson are currently in Australia, where Hanks was to begin production on a movie about the life of Elvis Presley.
