Carmelo Anthony Says Photo Of Him Vacationing With Mystery Woman Is Bogus
Carmelo Anthony has had enough with reports that he’s cheating on estranged wife LaLa Anthony.
On Wednesday after a photo surfaced of Melo and an unidentified woman on a yacht in France, he’s speaking out in hopes of putting the rumors to bed.
Anthony took it upon himself to reach out to TMZ Sports to set the record straight.
“The only reason I’m addressing this is because this is affecting my family now and you got me out here looking crazy,” Anthony stated. “Usually I won’t address this, but I had to address this… Can’t let this one slide, because this sh*t ain’t cool no more.”
According to Carmelo, he was on a business trip and the woman in the photos is on the retreat with her family. Whats more, he says she’s also married.
“All them bloggers that’s trying to put that out there, that sh*t is not cool at all,” Anthony said. “That’s not cool at all. Let that family be they family, they married.”
On Tuesday, photos of the NBA baller standing near a woman laying in a leopard swim suit went viral and quickly sparked cheating rumors. Things quickly spiraled out of control when it was reported that the pictures were taken on La La’s birthday.
Carmelo went on an unprecedented apology tour after he reportedly cheated on La La and had a child with his mistress. Somehow Melo was able to salvage his marriage but any rumor of infidelity probably hits harder than before. Melo explains that it was this fact that drove him to openly address the gossip.
Unfortunately he may have opened a can of worms because his alleged mistress and baby’s mother is now speaking out claiming he’s a deadbeat dad.
The woman who goes by that name Mia Angel on Instagram posted this not so cryptic message on her page.
She also posts tons of photos of her adorable daughter allegedly with Melo.
