Uzo Aduba could have been an Olympic ice skater ya’ll. Seriously.

The Orange is the New Black star, who has garnered world wide fame for her role as Crazy Eyes on the hit Netflix series, grew up quite the skater.

The actress opened up about her ice skating days via Instagram on Wednesday night, sharing a video of her during what appears to be rehearsals leading for an competition. “Before there was Galinda, there was this…man, to be a kid again,” she wrote.

Uzo explained, “I know without question everything I am is because of the incredible support, guidance, and encouragement I was given every step along the way. I hope every kid gets to have a Donna Rozon(choreographer) and Roland Bessette(coach) in their life to help shape them for the better on their journey.”

In the visual, you see the young Boston native skating on ice while dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. “There’s no place like home.” she wrote.
