Kevin Hart Reveals He’s In A Wheelchair

Kevin Hart has landed himself in a wheelchair after trying to do “young stuff.”

Hart made the admission in a video on his verified Instagram account in which the caption reads in part, “I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!!”

Hart recounted how he tried to race his friend, former NFL player Stevan Ridley, in a 40-yard dash and ended up injuring himself.

“Ladies and gentleman, the age 40 is real,” Hart said. “All my men, women out there 40 years old and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age.”

Hart then revealed his wheelchair before recounting how he bet Ridley he could beat him in the sprint, but failed miserably.

“I tore my lower abdomen, my abductors are torn,” he said. “I don’t know what that is but I tore them. I tore those too. I can’t walk.”

The 44-year-old also revealed he’d be “sitting his ass down” in the wheelchair for six to eight weeks.

Ridley took to his Instagram stories to respond to Hart’s video.

“I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE SO I FIGURED YOU HAD THE JUICE TOO BIG BRO!” Ridley wrote, referring to his former New England Patriots teammate. “MY BAD @KEVINHARTFOREAL! HEAL UP AND KEEP MAKING US ALL LAUGH!”

Folks like Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Tracee Ellis Ross and Dwayne Johnson responded in Harts comments sending encouragement, jokes and well wishes.

“I  tore my abductor off my pelvis during a wrestling match. True story. You’ll be fine. You’ll grow a 3rd ball but you’ll be fine 😂 Heal up 💪🏾,” wrote Johnson. While Foxx questioned, “The barbecue title??!!! WELP! 😂😂😂😂 get well soon.”

Hart is no stranger to injuries. In 2019, he suffered “major back injuries” following a horrific car crash but made a full recovery.

We’re sure he’ll be back to normal in no time.
