Iggy Azalea Defends Letter Written To Judge For Tory Lanez
Iggy Azalea is facing backlash for sending a letter of support for Tory Lanez.
As previously reported, on Monday Judge Herriford revealed 76 people submitted letters on Lanez’s behalf ahead of his sentencing for shooting Megan The Stallion. According to Herriford, Azalea submitted a letter asking for leniency for Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, saying she hopes the sentence is “transformational, not life-destroying.”
After being hit with an avalanche of backlash the “Fancy” rapper took to social media to respond saying the hate was totally unfair. Azalea also said she didn’t know her passionate plea would be for public eyes, but she’s doubling down on feeling Tory doesn’t deserve more than 5 years for the shooting.
