Cynthia Bailey Talks Life After Divorce, Dating & Who’s In Her DM’s

Cynthia Bailey is single and ready to mingle.

The 56-year-old model and reality star is enjoying this new chapter in her life and dished to HipHollywood all about it.

“It’s just so crazy, because what’s happening now is I’m just pouring into me right now, and self love is real. It is a real thing,” she gushed.

Life After Divorce

Back in December, Bailey finalized her divorce from second husband Mike Hill after nearly two years of marriage. The break-up news sent shockwaves through the internet considering how in love the couple appeared. Hill popped the question during season 12 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the couples October 10, 2020 nuptials was also featured on the show.

Bailey contends that the split from the sportscaster was amicable and she’s happy to finally put the divorce behind her.

“This is the season of me,” she said. “This is the season of  ‘Re’ everything. Reinvention, Reinvigorating, Resetting, Rebooting, anything that’s a positive ‘Re’ word. I’m doing it.”

So is Bailey ready for a new Re-lationship?

“So I’ve actually gone on a couple of dates,” she confessed with a huge smile. “Nobody that I’m serious about or whatever, but definitely, I’ve met a couple of nice guys, and, hey, I’m having fun dating.”

Believe it or not the gorgeous actress and entrepreneur says men are not sliding into her DM’s though as one might expect.

“I think [guys] were kind of, like, scared to slide in,”  she laughed. “I did obviously need to take a minute, need to take a pause and a little break to just really just do me. And I’ve been doing a really good job of doing me, and now it’s like, okay. All right, let’s go.”

“Fit Cynt” Season

Bailey says her self-care routine also includes working out which has brought about the new moniker “Fit Cynt.”

“I went from turning 50 and calling myself  “50 Cynt” right? But now I’m, like “Fit Cynt”, she laughs.

“I’m working out three days a week. I’ve never worked out like that consistently in my life. I’m actually upset when I can’t get to the gym.”

She continues, “I think we live in a world, especially with social media, where it’s all about looking good, but there’s something to be said about actually feeling good as well and taking care of yourself.”
