Kaluuya, who reunites with director Jordan Peele, plays Otis ‘O.J.’ Haywood Jr. in the thriller film also starring Keke Palmer and Steve Yeon.

The Oscar winner recently announced he would not be reprising his role in the sequel ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ Kaluuya played W’Kabi, the best friend to T’Challa/Black Panther and the husband of Okoye, played by Danai Gurira.

He told Rotten Tomatoes that he had to back out due to scheduling conflicts with Peele’s ‘Nope.’  Kaluuya’s turn in Peele’s Oscar winner ‘Get Out’ is arguably his breakout role so it’s no surprise he put Peele first.

“We’re on the same journey,” he told HH at the premiere. “So it’s just nice to get back together and do what we do and just do the work.”

A host of Hollywood stars also turned out to see Peele’s latest work including Kelly Rowland, Bresha Webb, NBA star Steph Curry and more.
