Video Surfaces Of Late Rapper Goonew’s Body on Display Inside Club

Late rapper Goonew has been laid to rest in the most shocking way.

Video surfaced on Sunday (April 3) of what appears to be the late rappers body standing up straight inside Bliss night club in Washington DC. According to folks on Twitter his family and friends put on the tribute celebration which featured Goonew on stage wearing a pair of jeans, hoodie, sneakers and crown on his head.

According to another Twitter user the club had no idea the rappers body would be on display inside the venue. There are also reports attendees bought tickets to the tribute celebration. In video footage posted online,  there appears to be hundreds of people inside the club all trying to get a glimpse of his body as his music is played on the loud speakers.

The Maryland rapper, real name Markelle Antonio Morrow, was shot and killed in District Heights, MD on Friday, March 18. His mother says he was killed when he was on his way to give his sister a birthday gift, but never made it.

The family has not confirmed or denied this was his official home-going service but it’s certainly created a lot of buzz. On Monday, Bliss Nightclub released a statement saying they had no idea what was going to transpire during the event.

“Bliss was contacted by a local funeral home to rent out our venue for Goonew’s home-going celebration. Bliss was never made aware of what was going to transpire. We sincerely apologize to all those who may be upset or offended.”
