T.D. Jakes wants to reach out and touch the hip hop community.
The mega-pastor turned producer told Hip Hollywood exclusively he has his on eye on a few rap stars to collaborate with for his new film.
Jakes is currently executive producer of the “Seven Deadly Sins” anthology series on Lifetime. He says his mission is to expand beyond the church into Hollywood to create faith-based content and jobs for people of color.
You can see his latest two films “Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story” (starring Michelle Williams, Romeo Miller and Tina Knowles-Lawson) and “Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story” (starring Monique Coleman, LisaRaye and Eric Benet) on Lifetime now.
We also caught up with Williams who plays a single lawyer who thinks she’s found everything she’s looking for in a partner when she meets Xavier Collins (Antonio Cupo), a handsome and intelligent fellow lawyer, whose affection turns to obsession.
The Destiny’s Child alum explained what attracted her to the role and her acting inspiration.
