The Critics Choice Association gave Halle Berry her flowers, and she was brought to tears.
The 54-year-old actress got extremely emotional at the 4th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television event, where she accepted the Career Achievement Award.
The Oscar winner also got candid about her new boo Van Hunt, whom she called “the love of my life.”
“Besides directing my first movie, I also found the love of my life and I know it’s true and this is how I know it’s true, she confessed. “Because you fail so many times, you know what wrong looks like,” she added. “And because I failed so many times, I now know what [love] really looks like.”
In September 2020, Berry first confirmed her romance with Hunt, 51, by sharing a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt with the musician’s name on it, writing “now ya know.”
Since then, the “Bruised” star has not been shy of sharing her love for her boyfriend with the public.
Hunt attended the show alongside Berry who rocked a red Christian Siriano gown and Jimmy Choo heels.
