Lil Wayne and Kodak Black On Trump’s Pardon List

President Donald Trump still has time to pardon some of his family and celebrity friends — two of those may include Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.
According to a report from Bloomberg, Trump is considering pardoning Wayne, who is facing up to 10 years in jail for illegally possessing a loaded handgun while traveling to Florida on a private plane in 2019. Wayne pled guilty in federal district court in December, and has a sentencing hearing on Jan. 28.

Meanwhile Kodak Black … who is currently serving 46 months in prison on federal weapons charges … is also allegedly on Trump’s get out of jail list … go figure. Black, said in a now-deleted tweet that he would donate $1 million to charity if the president freed him.
The president’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, her husband, Jared Kushner, who both hold White House positions, are also under consideration, the people said. Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has also discussed the issue of a pardon with the president.
According to Bloomberg Trump’s list is currently being vetted by lawyers who are concerned that pardons could create new allegations of obstruction of justice for members of the administration.
Still, he plans on announcing the pardons on what is expected to be his final day in office, Jan. 19.
