Ya’ll Mistaken: T.I. Says IG Post Wasn’t About Rapper King Von

T.I. wants y’all to know he was not talking about late rapper King Von in a recent Instagram post.

In case you missed it, on Monday Tip real name Clifford Harris wrote: “Atlanta is a beautiful progressive city filled with black excellence. We uplift each other & win together. Stop coming here to kill each other. That shit is played out. Management.”

In the caption he added, “Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city. Thx in advance.”

Based on the timing of the post many assumed he was talking about Chicago bred rapper King Von who was killed outside of an Atlanta club Friday night following an altercation with rapper Quando Rondo.

Tip hopped on Instagram again to clarify saying “My last post had nothing to do with King Von, ya’ll grossly mistaken. I have no motive or intention to do harm or malice to cats I’m cool wit.”

He also added in the caption that “miserable people love to keep up sh*t.”

Meanwhile, as previously reported, a suspect has been arrested and charged with King Von’s murder. Atlanta police have charged Timothy Leeks with murder in connection with Friday’s fatal shooting.

Leeks is in police custody at an Atlanta hospital, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound. Von, real name Dayvon Bennett was killed outside an Atlanta lounge, along with two others.

Three more men were also shot and wounded, including Leeks. Officials said they anticipate two suspects detained at the scene will also be charged.
