Just one week after it was reported that Cynthia Bailey got fired from The Real Housewives Of Atlanta cast, she’s setting the record straight.
Bailey told HipHollywood exclusively that any rumors that she has been fired are completely false.
“I always hear the same rumor every year,” she said. “If I’ve been fired I don’t know anything about it. I have a great relationship with Bravo, they are my family at this point and I think they think enough of me to tell me before they tell the blogs.”
This season saw Bailey’s romance with journalist Mike Hill blossom and the two got engaged. Now Bailey is bi-coastal spending time in Atlanta and Los Angeles where Hill resides. She told us that joining Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is actually not out of the question and she’s even thinking about opening a Bailey Wine Cellar on the west coast.
“Beverly Hills, I’m not opposed to that,” she said. “The reality is I live in Atlanta and in L.A. … I’d be open to showing both, so we have to see if Bravo and Truly Original can figure that out.”
But before Bailey heads to Beverly Hills she would like to get married and have the camera’s capture that moment for ‘RHOA’ viewers.
“I still have Lake Bailey, and a big part of my life is still in Atlanta,” she explained. “I really feel like I’ve shown my whole life, the ups, the downs and the peaks and the valleys. I’m in a great place in my life and I would really love to show this wedding and where I’m at with Mike, because this is the good times, I’m at peace. This is Chill”
As for how planning is coming along for their 10.10.20 nuptials, the couple admits it’s been tough due to the coronavirus pandemic. “I don’t want a zoom wedding,” Bailey joked. While Hill said, “The only person I want covering their face is Cynthia, so we will have to see.”
