Andy Cohen Holds The Key To Phaedra Parks’ Return To ‘RHOA’ Not Kandi Burruss

Reports are swirling that Phaedra Parks could be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Sources tell lovebscott.com that the self-proclaimed southern belle is in talks for next season. Parks however will not be holding a peach, instead she’s being considered to return as a ‘friend’ of the show.

As previously reported, Kandi Burruss and Parks fell out after she spread rumors insinuating Burruss was a lesbian and wanted to drug Porsha Williams. Since the two have not spoken and Kandi told us that’s how she’d like to keep it.

Sources tell HipHollywood that behind the scenes Burruss has made it known that she does not want to work with Parks. But the decision may not be up to her. We’re told Bravo SVP Andy Cohen is actually the deciding factor on if Parks returns, NOT Burruss.  Per the source, Cohen is aware of Kandi’s refusal to shoot with Parks, and despite what Nene Leakes says, Burruss really has favor with Cohen.

It’s not a secret that Leakes wants Phaedra back on the show and even brought her to Cohen’s baby shower as a surprise for Andy. We’re told Cohen was happy to have Parks there as were some of the other cast members.

When we caught up with Cynthia Bailey she told us she wouldn’t be opposed to Phaedra or Kim Zolciak returning. “I don’t have a problem with either of them coming back as long as they are not coming for me,” she joked. “Phaedra has been nice to me but she’s also been not so nice.”

Bailey also refuted claims by Nene that Kandi is scared of Parks. As you know Leakes and Burruss are now feuding.

“Kandi is not afraid, there is a difference between being afraid and choosing to not want to work with somebody,” she explained. “Nobody is afraid … This ain’t Mob Wives.”

Interestingly, past cast members Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak were both recent guests on Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live. If Parks is a guest on an upcoming episode, it could signal that Cohen just may be considering bringing her back … or he’s just being messy.
