Meg The Stallion Explains That Viral Mugshot

Surprise, Megan Thee Stallion has a mugshot and it has come back to haunt her.

Earlier this week the arrest photo of the 24-year-old rapper began making its rounds online as well as the details. Apparently the Houston Hottie (real name Megan Pete) was arrested on March 19, 2015 for “assault causing bodily injury to a family member” in Travis County, Texas … but it’s not what you think.

Meg hoped on her Instagram Live to set the record straight. If you think she can spit bars, wait until you hear her tell this story, it’s pretty entertaining.

“It’s so embarrassing but I’m a real b*tch, so I don’t give a f*ck,” she began. “So, I saw my ugly a** mugshot. My mugshot is so terrible. It’s so horrible. I was like 19 or 20 and I was in college.”

The rap star then explains that she was at SXSW with her then-boyfriend when she found out he had a baby behind her back. Naturally, she was upset and things then got physical. She said she was trying to walk away, but he kept pulling on her and didn’t want her to leave. At the time, she thought that “toxic sh*t” was cute, but she knows better now.

She said somebody called the police because they saw them arguing. She said the police just so happened to “pull up while I’m punching” making it look like she was the aggressor. When the police asked her if her boyfriend hit her, she said no. But when they asked him it was a different story. He claimed Meg hit him in the eye, so they locked her up. She ended up spending two days in jail before she got bailed out.

As for why the arrest was listed as an attack on a family member, Meg said she doesn’t know why since this involved her boyfriend.

“That n*gga not my family. That b*tch and her baby is his family,” she joked.

Thankfully the whole case was dismissed in April 2016, after the he didn’t show for court and didn’t want to press charges.
