Journalists Dragged For Criticizing Blue Ivy’s Looks

It’s unfortunate that this even needs to be said, but can’t we all come to the collective understanding that criticizing a child’s appearance is OFF LIMITS?! Because, apparently for some, it’s as commonplace as breathing. In this case, it was two grown a** adults — who work as journalist and know the weight of words — that decided to launch an unprovoked attack aimed at BeyoncĂ© and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

Then K Austin Collins, who is the film critic for Vanity Fair, and Violet Lucca, who is a web editor for Harpers, had this interaction on Twitter regarding Blue…

Naturally, both of them got dragged to hell for not only attacking a young child, but a Black child, at that. Collins apologized with just one tweet and hasn’t said much since.

However, Lucca had a lot more to say…

Clearly, this lady is still missing the point. Folks, let’s be better in 2020.
