Tyler Perry’s “A Fall From Grace” is getting quite the dragging on Twitter. Perry’s first Netflix film debuted on the streaming platform Friday, January 10. By Saturday folks had jokes and questions.

According to People, the feature film was shot in five days. Of course, this isn’t surprising, given Perry’s propensity to shoot a project in rapid speed and give his actors one take. Nevertheless the issues people had were less about the acting and writing and more about the directing.

From the bad wigs, continuity issues and sloppy shots folks caught it all, screenshot it and posted it on Twitter.

The silver lining if there is one is that our girl Crystal Fox is finally getting a moment to shine (even if it’s being slightly overshadowed by Perry’s poor filmmaking). If you know anything about Fox you know she’s a veteran actress. She got her start in the Academy Award winning flick Driving Miss Daisy and went on to star in numerous TV series including In The Heat of The Night, Law & Order and The Sopranos.

Since 2013 she’s starred as Hanna Young on Perry’s soap drama The Have & The Have Not’s and also starred on season 2 of HBO’s Big Little Lies. For the latter she garnered praise from critics and was also nominated along with the cast for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

When we caught up with her at the SAG Awards she said she’s just enjoying this moment and happy Hollywood is taking notice of her talent.

“I never saw it coming,” she said. “It feels like an extra blessing from God … people are cheering me on and its help me float through all of this because its overwhelming.”

Fox will next be seen in the drama Burden opposite Forest Whitaker and Usher, as well as the Amazon Prime drama series Utopia created by Gillian Flynn.
