Looks like Kehlani and YG are playing a game of break-up to make-up. The West Coast music stars had social media’s attention earlier this week when they were spotted together at two different events.
The pair, who dated for just three months last year, were first spotted holding hands outside the Universal Music Group Grammys afterparty on Sunday night. However, the performers did not pose together on the afterparty red carpet.
The following night however they got super cozy at the YouTube Originals “Justin Bieber: Seasons” premiere. The duo arrived together and YG also gave his on and off boo a kiss on the cheek as they walked down the carpet.
The rekindled romance comes just days after YG was arrested on Friday morning on suspicion of robbery. The 29-year-old still managed to attend the Grammys and performed as part of a tribute to Nipsey Hussle. After the ceremony, YG changed into a Kobe Bryant jersey in honor of the NBA star, who died along with eight others — including his 13-year-old daughter — in a helicopter crash earlier Sunday.
In December, Kehlani, 24, announced her split from YG on social media, while denying rumors of a new relationship with Canadian rapper Tory Lanez.
“Because i keep seeing this. i’m addressing it. absolutely not. we made a song for my album,” she wrote, adding, “I am single. and focused.”
Kehlani — who welcomed a baby girl with ex Javaughn in March 2019 — and YG first went public in September.
The romance soon hit a rough patch after YG was spotted with another woman while leaving a club and cheating rumors began swirling. He eventually admitted he has been unfaithful.
Time will tell if he’s truly a changed man.
