Sooooo, Safaree Samuels wants to be a rapper, just like his ex Nicki Minaj. Oh, ok!

On the heels of their messy break-up, Samuels has decided to capitalize off the publicity and go full steam ahead with his rap aspirations. The former hype man has just dropped two new songs of his upcoming self titled EP.

Using Instagram as his personal publicist, Safaree posted snippets of two tracks: “I’m Dope” and “Burner”. There’s a line from “I’m Dope” that seems to be his favorite though…

“i see they throwing em stones like they 1st name is kidney im like bad bobby brown,” SS posted.
