Young Jeezy was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in Alpharetta, Georgia for obstructing police officers.
The Alpharetta Police Department tells HipHollywood that they responded to a panic alarm at Jeezy’s girlfriend’s home around 1:42 p.m, where upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with the rapper who said he did not live at the residence.
According to the incident report obtained by HH, Jay Wayne Jenkins, the rapper’s legal name, was extremely uncooperative with police when they asked for his name and proper form of identification. The document states that Jenkins became verbally abusive yelling, “f*ck you, I don’t have to tell you sh*t” to officers and escalated the situation which resulted in his lawful arrest.
We are told that this incident could have been avoided if the rapper had provided the information needed on scene to our police officers. Jeezy, who was arrested earlier this month for making death threats against his own son, was booked at the North Fulton Alpharetta Annex Jail for misdemeanor obstruction.
