Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been threatened with a lawsuit for reportedly designing a T-shirt with an emblem that resembles the logo used by the New York Department of Agriculture.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his administration sent the NBA player and his reality star wife a cease-and-desist letter, asking for the couple to stop selling the T-shirt from their high end clothing line, Rich Soil. According to the New York Daily News, the couple was given five days to comply or else the state will take legal action.

“The State of New York has invested substantial time, effort and resources creating the respect and goodwill associated with the trademark,” Susan Rosenthal, a lawyer for the Department of Agriculture stated in the letter.

The state’s logo consists of the Statue of Liberty, overlooking a farm, with “Pride Of New York” circled around it. The Rich Soil T-shirt logo has the same concept, but using the words, “Rich Soil New York.” Khloe was photographed wearing the T-shirt last week.

Reportedly just hours after the couple received the letter, the shirt was taken off of the website.
