Model Employee, VH1’s newest competition-reality series, profiles eight models in hopes of becoming the face of Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
HipHollywood caught up with Sports Illustrated model, and host of the new series, Chrissy Teigen, to talk about what viewers can expect. “They come there (Vegas) for this hundred thousand dollar contract to be the spokesmodel, but they don’t realize that we are going to put them all kinds of compromising situations. They have to do the dirty jobs of the Mandalay Bay and it’s comical, it’s really funny to watch,” Teigen explained.
The 27-year-old expressed that it won’t be all champagne and caviar for the ladies, and not every model can handle the tasks at hand. “There’s some times where these woman are balling at these tasks … It’s interesting to see them having to actually complete tasks,” Chrissy shared.
As for what it takes to become the face of the hottest resort in sin city, it’s more than just looks. “You want somebody that’s going to represent Mandalay Bay and be a fantastic spokesmodel. You have to come with some kind of knowledge of the resort … Take great pictures of course,” R&B singer John Legend’s fiancee said.
Model Employee airs Wednesday nights at 11 P.M. on VH1.
