Beyonce’s Awkward Moment With A British Royal
Beyonce had an incredibly embarrassing run-in with a British royal during her first London show at the O2 Arena, and lets just say, Beyonce wasn’t saying “Bow Down” afterwards.
During one of her sets, Mrs. Carter pointed the microphone towards an audience member to repeat the lyrics to her hit single, “Irreplaceable.” Unfortunately, the fan failed to sing, “to the left, to the left”, leaving Beyonce scrambling to finish the refrain on her own. But wait, what Beyonce didn’t realize was that the audience member was Princess Eugenie … royalty.
You can watch the entire ordeal unfold in video posted on YouTube.
A source told The Mirror that the incident was actually comical. “Eugenie was on the front row with Kate Middleton’s brother, James, and his new girlfriend, Donna Air, plus designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox. She was really excitable and filming the whole thing on her iPhone like any other fan … All Eugenie’s friends were teasing her about her stage fright for hours afterwards,” the source revealed.
Princes Eugenie is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and is sixth in line to the throne.
