Laila Ali is gearing up to show off her bikini bod for People magazine.
HipHollywood caught up with the mom of two on the red carpet for the premiere of 42, where she gushed about her big shoot. “I’m excited,” said Laila. “I’m not all the way ready but I will be ready by next week.”
The boxing champ also revealed that this will be her first time donning a swimsuit for the cameras, but we’re sure she’ll be a total knockout.
The Subway spokeswoman has dropped her baby weight since having her second child back in 2011, but told us in February that she didn’t feel any pressure to drop the pounds in a hurry. “I think that we should all aspire to get back fit and healthy because that’s what we should do anyway but don’t be pressured by it,” said Laila. “That first year you shouldn’t be thinking about anything but that baby, and nourishing that baby, and putting the right foods in your body and if you’re eating properly, then you won’t gain too much weight.”
